I can't believe I haven't left a review before! I have eaten here twice in the past and both times were solid with no complaints. But honestly this review is about the drinks. I am a bit of a cocktail snob, and having a conversation about the best cocktails I have ever had (in the world), and this place immediately came to mind. Specifically the La Revolucion cocktail. I literally dream of this cocktail. Honestly I have been bragging about Handshake Speakeasy for 2 years, but as much as I love them, this cocktail specific cocktail should put La Revolution on the board (come on Timeout). What I love most about the place was the history. This place was actually flooded during the 2017 hurricane but the owners persevered and have left paint markings from the floods as a reminder of their resilience. They even created a cocktail called 'Lydia' in rememberence which is one of the best mezcal cocktails I've had, and a must try. The place was classy and had a nice setting. I really enjoyed that they provided us an amous-bouche to cleanse the mouth when we were trying different dishes. Staff were really really polite and spoke English well, the food was well plated. Try and get a seat near the 'historic wall' which has 2 people seating areas and is really romantic.
