I'm a very good tipper, usually 20 percent or higher because I am in the industry as well. Forcing gratuity automatically to a table of two is distasteful. Will not return. If you're looking for Italian food in this area, go to La Luce.. incredible italian place in the area, try the Agnelotti, I literally shut my eyes while I eat it. This place was worth a shot but just was not a good place overall, disappointed.. I'm sure they add gratuity because noone would tip, it's that bad guys. Trust the bad comments.

Think and think again about going to La Risata . . . Be warned that the people at La Risata are very dishonest with the bill. La Risata provides extremely poor service, grudging compliance when called to task. La Risata overcharges for half-servings of drinks. Calls for better service are met with uncomfortable glares. Food was flavourful but extremely scant for the prices paid. . . We left hungry and eventually went for a satisfying take-out meal elsewhere. La Risata cannot afford to provide the food that is ordered. I do not believe that La Risata should be in the service industry. Good reviews are obviously done by their people. Really!
