The owner/waitress doesn't really speak English which is hard for tourist but she really tried and she had great attitude even with the language barrier! I think the service was great! Food was exceptional for the price we paid we got way higher quality than it cost. The tastes were balanced. I especially love the entree (appetizers) escargots were creamy and very yummy! The beef was juicy. The veal was so tender. We really enjoy the meal! They open at 730pm for dinner and they open until whenever you finished no rush at all! Exceptional dining experience in Tours. We had a fantastic meal at La Rissole during our recent visit to Tours. As a family with a background in hospitality, we really appreciated just how special this place is. It’s run by a passionate couple, with her providing warm and attentive front-of-house service and him delivering outstanding food from the kitchen – a combination that creates a truly personal and memorable experience. The menu is refreshingly focused, offering three choices per course, which allows for real attention to quality and detail. Every dish we had was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, showcasing both skill and care in the cooking. One of the biggest surprises was the value. Coming from London, we’re used to paying significantly more for this level of food and service. La Rissole offers exceptional quality at a price point that feels incredibly reasonable for such a high standard.
