Our last meal before our journey back home. Could not have asked for a better finale. From start to finish our evening was nothing short of amazing. We were seated in a beautiful room that was both equally rustic and romantic. The staff made us feel like royalty and the entire flow of the evening was flawless. Every dish was creative and properly balanced. You really get a sense for the Japanese influence chef Cantafio imparts on his dishes. By a landslide, and possibly one of my favorite dishes ever was the risotto. Every now and then (rarely) one eats something and has an "oh sh.." moment. This was one of those moments. La Stüa de Michil, the gourmet gastronomic restaurant of the hotel la perla, is an iconic restaurant inside one of the most romantic and warmest stubes that I have ever seen and visited. Let yourself be guided by the dining room and kitchen staff who will guide you through your idea of gastronomy. Mahatma Wine Cellar will satisfy your needs whether they are demanding or not. Everything from the chef's welcome to the coffee will be up to par to make you have an excellent evening. The normal prices for such a place will not leave room for surprises for your pockets but the surprise will reveal itself in your dining experience.
