After a delightful museum visit, we stumbled upon La Table D'Alix, and what a gem it turned out to be! Nestled under the majestic church tower, the outdoor seating is a perfect spot to unwind. We kicked back with a refreshing local beer and indulged in the heavenly melted camembert cheese paired with fresh bread. The staff greeted us with warmth, even throwing in a few Flemish phrases, which was a charming surprise in the French-speaking part of Belgium. Their friendly check-ins were just the right balance—attentive without being intrusive. While the food was reasonably priced and delicious, I did notice the cheese was a tad past its "best before date." It didn’t ruin our experience, but it’s worth mentioning for the more discerning palate. Overall, a lovely stop for tourists seeking a cozy bite!
