I have to say that we were surprised by this place. Delicious Iberian pork meat, both the prey, the feather or the lizard. The accompanying potatoes, homemade, delicious, deserve mention since in most places they are pre-cooked. The mussels with vinaigrette are also recommended. The friendly and close treatment of the owners makes you feel at ease. We will repeat, without a doubt, and we will recommend one hundred percent. La apuesta de pilo is an amazing place to feel the real Spanish life, the food is top, they not only have traditional Extremadura food but also the “out of the menu” provides delicious food that cannot be found any where else. The team is excepcional and treat you as a family. 100% recommend. My favourite dish: Dorado Extremeño Tenéis que probar la apuesta de pilo! Un sitio excepcional con una comida excelente y un trato aún mejor! Si visitas Badajoz, ve!! Mi plato favorito: Dorado Extremeño
