Warm seafood pizza on a barely warm plate. Microscopic clams abundant with broken shells, cephalopods and pre-cooked shrimp with no trace of grilling and smelling industrial. Pizza dough painted with 1 symbolic layer of industrial tomato. 75cl of carbonated water at 5 CHF (= €5.5). Dessert: afogato coffee vanilla ice cream very good despite very discreet vanilla. Very good service unfortunately not edible.

I had already stayed at La Rouvenaz in 2015 and I didn't regret choosing this accommodation this time either. The location is already optimal! This time I had a room on the 3rd floor, room 309. The elevator goes up to the 3rd floor, then there are a few more steps you have to go up. The window faces the side alley. But if you stick your head out you can see the lake and therefore also check the weather. Very comfortable bed and the room has everything else you need. Also a kettle! The only downside is the minimal counter space in the bathroom. This is still trimmed with the paper dispenser box mounted directly above it. But it has a rain shower. Good WiFi reception. Breakfast is rich and offers something for everyone. A highlight is the coffee machine that makes really good coffee!! Francois and Palmi from reception make the stay even more pleasant. They are very warm and helpful and always have a smile. Without hesitation, I was loaned a charging cable for my cell phone because I had forgotten mine on the train. I can fully recommend La Rouvenaz if you don't expect luxury, but want top clean accommodation with employees who do an impeccable job, a rich breakfast, and a pleasant atmosphere in a smaller house with a great location and an attached restaurant.
