Our car was broken into nearby while we stopped here for a quick coffee break after the airport. When we came back after filing a police report, staff told us a man working at the supermarket next door had seen something. When we approached him directly and asked if he witnessed the break-in, he didn’t answer the question — instead he said he knew where the people responsible were, claimed he could help us get our stolen items back, but said he could only do this after the supermarket closed at 8:30pm and that it would only be our passports recovered. We found it very strange that we were being asked to wait around past closing hours to ‘recover’ our stolen passports through an informal arrangement rather than through police. We can’t say for certain what was going on, but the whole interaction felt coordinated and did not inspire trust. Would recommend other tourists be cautious in this area and go through official police channels only

Very kind and accommodating staff. They made great coffees that came with such a welcoming spirit. This was a highlight of my day during my stay in this location.

After staying at a nearby hotel, we desperately needed a cappuccino before driving for several hours. I found this local place on Google Maps and it did not disappoint. It was the best cappuccino we had our entire time in Italy. The pastries were very good. This was a place for locals, not tourists, but we were still able to communicate and get what we needed. In fact, a very handsome man behind the bar made sure to tell us that we looked lovely in our dresses, which was incredibly kind and welcoming.
