I dined at La Terrazza a few years ago and was blown away, so on a return trip to Rome this year, I brought my boyfriend for what I expected to be the highlight of our trip, our last night in the city. Unfortunately, the tasting menu didn't deliver at all. Nearly $600 for two people, including one $20 glass of wine, and not a single dish stood out. My boyfriend was especially let down since I'd been building this up for over a month, it ended up being the worst meal we had in Italy. I mentioned this to our server, and it was disappointing that no gesture or discount was offered after hearing the meal fell flat across the board. **One dish in particular was concerning: the pigeon was served raw, and I’m honestly unsure whether it was safe to eat, I’m still waiting to see if I feel unwell. I've had wonderful Michelin-starred experiences before, but this wasn't one of them. It's a shame to have closed out our trip here.
