We were a little disappointed. We booked for dinner on the weekend on the recommendation of friends. They have a terrace and an interior area. The service was good, friendly staff although there were many forgetfulness and confusion, there were things that we had to ask for on several occasions. The menu offers options for all tastes. The food in general is good although they take little care in the presentation, for example the tataki, some almost transparent pieces and others two fingers. Everything tastes good and the quality of the product is average. The price seemed high for the service and product offered. Let's not forget that we are in the mountains. More than a retro design, let's say that the interior is a crappy design. 1. We spent 45 minutes sitting waiting for drinks to start dinner. Hot beer and little variety. 2. We ordered some starters to share and a second for each one. The entire order arrived almost at the same time and there was no room on the table to put the plates. 3 cold artichokes, the very kind waitress offered to return them to the kitchen, but once they were split and tasted, it didn't seem right to me and they were not returned. 4.the volandeiras with a huge excess of cheese that made them lose all their essence and flavor. Cachopo...good. Sirloin.good. Salmon carpaccio with citrus aromas... of walking around the house and non-existent citrus aromas. Cod. Good. Milanese.good. Arturo was the most welcoming host! The food was lovely, the venue was lovely, but Arturo really made our experience at Makkila de Serrano distinctive. Made our night! 100% recommend.
