I was excited to go to this place based off the reviews. Depending on what you want, the reviews may live up to the hype. For me though, I found the food decent and the service far, far too slow. For the starter and appetizer I got, it took me over 3 hrs to go from seated to actually checking out. In total, I spent maybe 30 minutes eating. I asked for the check and received it over an hour later. The food I ate was decent but certainly not worth the time I spent waiting. It was also fairly pricy. I think as a solo traveler it is especially not worth it. I can see the experience being enjoyable with a large group. Walked in this place because it was conveniently located near the Marriott hotel and I couldn't have been luckier. The food was phenomenal and somehow the service was even better than that. To anyone who might think that Parisian restaurants are too fancy and overpriced I challenge you to eat here. La Vie d'Ange will get regular stop for me when I'm in Paris from now on.
