5-star beautiful riad with lovely staff and convenient location. Riad Idra was my favorite hotel accommodation in Morocco. Literally smells beautiful in its courtyard, like Jasmine. The staff were oh so pleasant and graceful. Our first encounter was with Corine, an elegant woman who invited us in so comfortably. Per typical Moroccon road greeting, upon arrival we sat in the courtyard to enjoy tea and cookies while we checked-in and were informed of the riad's offerings and local places to visit. We received a map that surprise to me was actually quite helpful. This road has.a small elevator for luggage carry was people who don't do stairs well, a plus in my opinion. We opted to have dinner there our second night and chose.our own cuisine not from their menu. Divine! Huge lamb shank with vegetables. Multiple courses, as moroccons do. The beauty here was so simple and sophisticated. It was.curated by a french designer and he hit the mark in wvery aspect, from the coloring accents to art, all well displayed. The location was perfect to visit local restaurants and souks. I'd love to stay here again when I return to Marrakech. The rooftop was stunning and larger than one might imagine. Lovely Riad in the middle of Medina in Marrakech. Most of the places of interest are within walking distance. The riad has a lovely courtyard with some palm trees and creepers and there are birds too. It's a wonderful feeling to wake up to the sound of chirping birds. The room was very good, spacious, clean with big windows and very tastefully decorated. They had kept a bunch of red roses which was lovely. All the people in the riad are very nice, friendly and helpful, especially Karine. I thank them all for the great time we had. Only issue is that if the hotel is busy, it takes a long time to get breakfast. If you have a tour lined up go for breakfast atleast an hour before.
