For a slightly out of the way location, Lab071 had a nice buzz to it when we arrived for dinner. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. The food, where vegetables take a ‘leading role’ was absolutely delicious - the dishes were inventive but not overly complicated, using a great range of ingredients (I don’t think I’ve eaten salsify before). However the reason for four not five stars was the pudding which was a big disappointment. It was meant to be a kind of tiramisu/amaretto dish but there was no taste of the amaretto coffee liqueur and the cocoa powder sprinkled over it was overwhelming. That said, overall it was a lovely place and a great meal so we’ll definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great restaurant! Very good food, friendly people and nice atmosphere. Do go (when it’s possible again) if you want to have a perfect night (or breakfast or lunch :-))out!
