Great matcha and hojicha lattes. Tried their strawberry iced matcha, plain iced matcha, and hojicha latte with mango saccharin. All of them tasted great, and the quality of the matcha was evident. Not grainy or overly bitter or astringent, with a good umami and bright green colour. My only criticism is the 12 oz size is too small for an iced matcha, as there isn't enough room for the ice and it all melted before the drink was properly chilled. The 16 oz is a much better size for the iced drinks, and in my opinion they shouldn't offer the smaller size.

Thanks Ben! We definitely thought about making matcha the one size, but were immediately met with people saying they wanted a smaller drink lol

Labo Coffee is a relatively new entry into the cafe scene on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton. They have a cute unassuming space that's easy to miss. Adorable walls and a long cafe with a quieter gathering area further back. Labo has a wonderful selection of unique coffee options. They had a few food items that were appealing. The service was very energetic and wonderful!! 4 x. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
