This place is amazing, it's a shame the shopping center is going thru some ups and downs. We drive all the way out from Bartlett when we crave it. Our go to has always been the spicy seafood soup. Ask for extra vegetables, can be had mild or spicy. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Legit champpong/chajangmyun spot. The best I found. Not saturated with grease/oil nor sodium nor glucose. Very clean taste and light yet not bland or just a bowl with water-soup As a Korean and a foodie I have high standards for Korean cuisine and Korean-Chinese fusion food. This makes the list for regular visits. Unassuming mom & pop shop with solid quality. Price is great. Personally I like champpong with more spice and heat but I can do this light and less spicy version. I could tell it was made with care and attention. Chajangmyun could use tiny more of the paste but again no tummy ache afterwards so that is a win. Every time I eat these type of food I get tummy ache due to the high content of fats and sodium (stir fried) but this time I had no such symptoms. Wow We must preserve this restaurant. The texture for their noodle dishes, such as Jjampong, jjajjangmyun, beats a lot of the new places in my opinion! It's awesome how they have jjam/jjang,  for people who want best of both worlds, heheheh!! The flavors they provide are stellar! Flavorful, never too over powering, filling, as well as comfortable. Don't judge till you give this place a try, as you'll miss out on some truly spot on Korean Chinese cuisine that this place has to offer. Have you ever heard of Lee's Mandarin? It used to be located off Dempster/Elmhurst Road in1990s', 2000s. The best part is... the food still remains legendary, now at Lai Lai.
