It's nice, no complaints on quality, but for the basic cafe at the rear, it's too pricey. The prices are in the menu, so it's my own fault for just waking in and ordering without thinking it through. £8.95 is expensive for a cheese toastie, then an extra £1.75 to add some tomato is too much. Cup of tea and an empire was £7.25 and soft drinks £3.50 a can. I get that everywhere is expensive now, but was just a bit too far for me. Just had a top-notch meal at The Laird's Table Cafe/Restaurant. The food here is really something else - packed full of flavour and presented beautifully. From starters to dessert, everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. ️ Service was pretty decent, too. Staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure we were looked after. And let's not forget the views! Nestled in the countryside, you get to enjoy your meal with a panorama of rolling hills and lush greenery. It adds a certain something to the whole dining experience. Overall, I'd recommend The Laird's Table to anyone looking for a dining experience that ticks all the boxes: great food, good service, and stunning views.
