You can come to this restaurant after visiting The World of Beatrix Potter. Visitors state that it's fine to go here for the Indian meal. Visit Lake Raj to taste nicely cooked onion naan, tandoori chicken tikka and lamb tikka. Many guests point out that pudding is good. Wow not only is Raj the nicest most professional person I have met but the food is the best ever! My husband, mum and I will be coming back to stay in a hotel just to visit this amazing place! We have been 3 times over Christmas and we don't want to leave the lakes to go back to Yorkshire mainly because of this restaurant! We highly recommend! Thank you so much for you hospitality! We already cannot wait to return!

I went to Lake Raj with a friend but unfortunately would not be returning. The staff seemed quite abrupt and didn't have time even to ask how the food was. My friend's food was hot as it came on a sizzling plate but mine was only luke warm. Food was OK but not really impressed with the whole experience. Will be going elsewhere next time I come to the Lakes.
