I very rarely go to Baltimore without stopping by and ordering a few pieces of steak fish (Philadelphians call it cod fish) from Lake Trout. It's the equivalent of visiting Philadelphla and ordering a cheesesteak from your favorite establishment ... it's just something you have to do. Unfortunately, I will not visit the Edmondson Ave location again. My last experience was alarming. As i pulled into a parking spot in front of the establishment, I saw two gentleman standing near by. As I turned off the car, they looked at one another then pulled ski ski masks over their faces. One man walked towards my car while the other walked towards the back of my car, I immediately started my car and left the shopping center. I'll still treat myself to Lake Trout but I'll visit the Windsor Mill location , it's the same great food in a safer location. The review represents a 5 for the steak fish and a 1 for my safety

Fried Oysters are so good. Perfect amount of breading. The trout is amazing. Perfect breading. Will be back!

We have been going here since I was a little girl! The fish honestly tasted better before but it is still good now. Always fresh and hot. Western fries,regular fries,cornbread and half/half is decent too.
