Lakeside Cafe is pretty near Thrybergh Country Park. Visitors don't highly appreciate coffee at this cafe. According to the reviewers' opinions, the staff can be rude. Coffee was burnt and cold. The staff were friendly but overpriced and the cake took way too long to get to our table we’d already finished our drinks. Would not return. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

This lovely cafe has been recently renovated. They serve decent coffee and offer plenty of seating both inside and outside. Toilets are also available. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went for a nice walk around the reservoir and unfortunately got caught in a big rain storm. No problem we thought, let's go to the lakeside cafe and get a coffee and dry off. We got in and sat down and a woman that worked there shouted at us "no dogs allowed". Luckily we hadn't bought anything and we were quite shocked how a place that has mainly dog walkers doesn't allow dogs. So we had to retreat to the car to dry off! Won't return at all. If I was you save the money for parking and go somewhere that's more welcome of dogs.
