Stopped into Lalo Cantina before a dinner reservation and love it. The chicharrones and chorizo queso were SO good — and gluten-free, which was a huge plus for us. We also had the house margarita and the spicy pineapple ranch water, and both drinks were super tasty, not overly sweet. The bartender was really friendly, and the whole place has such a cool, unique vibe. My only tiny complaint (and I know this makes me sound 100 years old ) is that it’s really dark in there, maybe it's darker sitting at the bar. I totally get the ambiance they’re going for, but just a little more lighting would make it easier to see your food and drinks. Other than that, absolutely loved it and we’ll definitely be back. What an incredible find. Our server, Nicole, at Social Oak told about Lalo and even made a reservation for us. When we arrived the hostess was so kind and informative. She made us feel young by asking to see our ID's . She seated us quickly and the walk through the cave was an experience that photos can't capture. So cool! Our server, Dayna, was outstanding. She was so nice and knowledgeable and very good at explaining our food and drink options. We just had dinner at Social Oak so we were there primarily for dessert but after looking at the menu we could easily done both at our next visit. The atmosphere and decor is nice and relaxing. We ordered Churros and the Orange Posset and they were amazing. The presentation was very good but the tasted was amazing!!! We have added Lalo to our "Place we take our Friends and Family" list. Highly recomment! Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20
