10/10 I recently visited Laman on Edgware Road and tried their Kabuli Pulao with lamb shank. It was absolutely outstanding. The rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant, and full of flavour, while the lamb shank was incredibly tender and fell off the bone. The balance of sweet carrots, raisins, and spices made the dish taste authentic and memorable. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, the food was served fresh, and the portion size was very generous. After trying many Middle Eastern and Afghan restaurants in London, this was one of the best Kabuli Pulaos I have had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Afghan cuisine.
