Excellent evening, lovely food but with originality in that there are home smoked dishes, which are superb. Great atmosphere, very relaxed and welcoming. Thank you for making the visit special for the two of us

Stopped here on way home from Sheffield Park for lunch as the Bull at Newick where usually stop is closed for renovations. Well will go straight here next time as it is lovely. Nice size car park. When walk into pub get friendly welcome from staff. This is my sort of pub muted colours wooded tables nice tasteful decor, loads of clocks and amazing Bar Billiards Table. Nice selection of drinks choose from and there was a Menu and a snack one. We sat on more relaxed seating area although the more formal bit looked very nice. There is a real fire, not on today as really warm but worth coming back. Had Wonderful Ploughmans and smoked salmon sandwich so fresh and filling. Xmas menu looks nice as does the main one when can we come back. Thank you lovely ladies who served us
