We had a wonderful stay and would come back at any time. If you want to switch off and escape everyday life, this is the right place for you. From the tasteful furnishings of the rooms to the rich, yet carefully selected breakfast buffet, everything is really right here! The dinner also left nothing to be desired. The area around the complex invites you to take long walks in nature. I have rarely been as relaxed and satisfied as I was during this stay. A nice hotel for the price. Advertise that it is quiet, but there are small children at the weekend and that does something to the peace . The food is great. You cannot reserve a specific table. If the restaurant is empty except for 1 occupied table, they will quietly seat you right next to it. The rooms are good except for some finishing points. The beds are good, the bedding is worn. The bathrobes have frays and holes and are stiff. If you inquire whether you can check out later, you will be told that it is possible, because the hotel is full. Later you hear that another guest can check out later . All kinds of points, but overall a great hotel. Food & drinks: The food is delicious. We had a wonderful stay with our family at Landgoed de Holtweijde! We booked a cottage which was perfect for our two small children and our dog. Glad you got out into nature! Also the breakfast and dinner were top arranged, really enjoyed it! The staff is knowledgeable and service-oriented, they like to think along with you and had appropriate advice regarding an activity for our children. And when another guest went crazy at check-out because she didn't want to pay her bill, the ladies remained very calm and patient. In the end, the management came into play, really great how they solved this. We'll be back soon! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value
