I visited here on a rainy evening. The interior is modern and calm. Black seems to be the theme colour. So the harmony of black/grey interior and the bright white light made a great calming, charming blend. The side that looks out the street consists entirely of glass doors so you have the view to the street while dining. I really enjoyed watching the drizzly rain dampening the street while dining. Two of the dishes on the menu happened to have half of what I like each, so I asked the server if the chef can mix it (seafood noodles with tomyam noodles). The server was kind, considerate and engaged properly in communication so I felt I was heard. We were a big group, and the chefs work hard to serve all our orders in time all at the same time. My custom noodle soup was great and the seafood ingredients were fresh and plenty. (Although I think the tomyam could be stronger than the version they served me) Overall, I really enjoyed my time here at Lao. I'd definitely love to visit again when it rains!
