Located in the Khilgaon area at Malibagh Chowdhury Para Road, Larong offers patrons a taste of authentic Marma cuisine. The restaurant, yet to make its mark on popular directories beyond a basic Google profile, stands out as a charming and casual dining spot in Dhaka. Known particularly for its prawn mungdi, chicken fry lakso, and black sticky rice balls, Larong has garnered appreciation for the freshness and flavor of its dishes. It embraces a relaxed atmosphere with limited indoor seating, accommodating just about eight guests inside, though outdoor seating is available.
Functioning as a mostly evening venue, Larong is open daily from 5 PM to 11 PM, making it an ideal choice for solo diners seeking a late-afternoon or evening meal. The dining experience has been noted for its personal touch, as staff members serve meals with a homely affection. Halal food, small plates, and dishes suitable for groups or kids extend its appeal, whereas takeout, dine-in, and outdoor seating options offer flexibility in how you enjoy your meal. Despite its positive reception, further details directly from the owner remain sparse, which might imply some unpredictability for new visitors.

The food is really good and quite light. No overwhelming smell at all. The mungdi was quite flavourful and healthy along with other items. The chicken laksho was just perfect to my tastebud. Also, the dessert is perfect pair with mungdi and laksho. Hats off to them for serving so delicious and healthy meals within budget. Authentic Marma cuisine restaurant in Khilgaon area. The sitting arrangement is small, only 8 people can seat inside but very amicable people serve you homely food. Tried special mungdi or chicken soup noodles. Really good taste, very light & warm. Their laksho is also good as far as I heard but didn’t try yet.
