Food was over priced for the quality that we received today. Pretty flavorless and unremarkable. There are much better quailty spots in Oceanside that are slightly cheaper. I recommend Mi Asador, and Valerie's Taco Stand if you're looking for consistent high quality in this price range. Where to start? To say that Las Brisas Mexican Cuisine is a great restaurant and local treasure is a huge understatement, these people are rock stars! I was looking for a place to get breakfast burritos to bring for my coworkers, and saw that even though Las Brisas was a little farther away from work, it's Yelp ratings were way above it's nearby competitors, so I gave it a try. I ordered a dozen breakfast burritos and took them in. Getting burritos for the crew is a regular event for us, and we are used to good ones. But universally, when I brought these from Las Brisas, everyone came by to say that they as good or better than any they had ever had and wanted the name so they could get food from there for their families. I couldn't agree more. The burritos are huge and fresh, full of smoky bacon, ham, eggs, cheese and potatoes cooked just perfectly, but not even the slightest bit greasy like so many burritos are. The salsas are excellent too, my favorite is the rojo, but the verde is also excellent. Since then, my family and I have tried other things including the soup and tacos, and all have been crowd pleasers. In addition, the service I have received has always been exemplary, even in the crazy coronavirus circumstances we are currently faced with. They are set up perfectly for social distancing, easy paying, entry and exit, and the food arrives very quickly. Next, I'm looking forward to trying their chile relleno burrito and their camarones al mojo de ajo, and can't wait! There are many reasons Las Brisas' ratings are way above their competitors, check them out, and I bet you'll see why too!
