If you're yearning for an authentic Polish culinary experience that transcends borders, look no further than Lassak Market & Deli. Nestled in Palos Hills @ the Southwest corner of 103rd and Roberts Rd, this hidden gem embodies the heart and soul of Poland in every savory and sweet morsel. Let's start with the stars of the show--Nalesniki! These delicate Polish crepes are a testament to Lassak's commitment to tradition. Whether you're savoring the Nalesniki z Serem, oozing with creamy cheese that's both rich and comforting, or indulging in the Nalesniki Mniej Slodkie, a less sweet version that tantalizes your taste buds with its subtle flavors, each bite is a journey to the streets of Krakow or Warsaw. But it doesn't stop there. Lassak's Nalesniki z Owocami takes you on a fruity adventure, as the fresh burst of flavors from the fruit-filled crepes delights your senses. It's a symphony of sweetness and tanginess that leaves you craving another bite, reminiscent of Polish summers and their vibrant bounty. Now, let's talk Golabki, the epitome of comfort food done right. Lassak's Golabki, those succulent and moist stuffed cabbage rolls, are nothing short of exquisite. Each tender leaf wraps around a flavorful filling of rice, meat, and spices, generously bathed in a savory tomato sauce. It's a taste that transports you to a Polish grandmother's kitchen, where every bite feels like a warm embrace. What sets Lassak Market & Deli apart is their unwavering dedication to preserving Polish culinary heritage. From the authentic recipes passed down through generations to the fresh, high-quality ingredients used in every dish, you can taste the genuine love and care infused into each creation. The ambiance of the deli adds to the experience, with its cozy atmosphere and shelves adorned with Polish delicacies and treasures. The staff, always friendly and ready to share their knowledge of Polish cuisine, make you feel like a welcomed guest in their own home. In a world where authenticity can sometimes be elusive, Lassak Market & Deli stands as a beacon of true Polish flavors and traditions. Whether you're a connoisseur of Polish cuisine or a curious foodie seeking new culinary adventures, a visit here is an absolute must. Lassak Market & Deli, thank you for bringing the rich tapestry of Poland's culinary delights to our tables. With every bite, you've transported us on a gastronomic journey that's as authentic as it is delicious. Dziekuje Ci! (Thank you!)

First time here the bakery has a wide variety of pastries but I thought they were a bit pricy.  Kolasky  cookies were good but $$

This is one of those cultural stops you have to try to appreciate.  It is a Polish/eastern European grocery store that carries so many products from the old country.  So much so that many of the aisles are filled with items for which they don't even bother with an English translation. That said, this is a charming and wonderful place. When you walk in you see a deli case that spans the whole width of the building chock full of sausages and cheeses and meats ... you are sure to find something you like. Then at the back they have a large prepared food setup, where you can select and have packaged an entire meal. Add these to aisles upon aisles of grocery items and you have an extensive grocery selection.  Try this place for eastern European ethnic foods...you won't be sorry.
