Whilst on a day trip to Yor, the second pub I went to was The Last Drop Inn, a modern pub, in a historic building, which is like a micro pub. It is a long room and small outside area. it has just won a local CAMRA award for the best pub in York. 7 real ales were available on hand pump. There was an 8th cask ale on hand pump, Olde Peculiar in a wooden cask, which that was being saved for the next days CAMRA award party. I had a flight of 3 x 1/3rd pints for £5.75. My 3 choices were Kicking Donkey, Wave Length and Kiwi, an amber, and 2 light golden ales respectively. All were served in good condition and were nice. This is a wet sales pub with just snacks to eat. I saw that this pub was recently put up for sale and is under offer. It was once a Black Sheep Brewery pub, until they were bought out. I hope a suitable buyer is found and this will continue as a great pub. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
