Our anniversary Lunch at Pt Leo Estate and at Laura Restaurant in particular was absolutely divine. The moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with the most friendly and accomodating staff to kick start out experience. The young gentleman who was super knowledgeable about all the wines at the wine tasting experience was awesome and then we continued on to lunch at Laura RestaurantAinsley the estate director and Matt who we had the pleasure of being assisted by during our lunch were super super hospitable and made our anniversary lunch experience one to remember and truly wonderful. We’re super appreciative for the staff at Pt Leo. Over all, the whole culinary experience, was definitely up there with some of the best we’ve had and we’ve dined at numerous Michelin star restaurants worldwide. This is one we highly highly recommend. The chef has his tasting and flavour experience nailed down to a tee for diners. Well done Pt Leo and thank you! Very disappointing experience at Laura. I visited on Saturday, 1 August, with a small foldable trolley carrying my laptop and some work equipment. When I was about to bring the trolley inside, a staff member asked me whether I was taking it into the restaurant and what was inside it. I explained that it contained some work equipment and my laptop, and I politely asked whether I was allowed to bring it in. He clearly told me that it was fine. However, not long after that, another staff member came over and questioned me about the trolley again. Eventually, the manager also came over and raised the same issue. I found this extremely confusing and disrespectful. I had already politely asked whether the trolley was allowed and was clearly told that it was. Having three different staff members repeatedly question me about the same thing made me feel very uncomfortable, unwelcome and singled out. If the trolley was not allowed, they could simply have told me from the beginning and I would have respected the rule. The restaurant was not full at the time, and the trolley was not blocking anyone. Unfortunately, the way this was handled made the whole dining experience very unpleasant and disappointing.
