Good pies, sandwiches and quiche can be what you need. The hallmark of this cafe is serving tasty fruitcake. Delicious coffee or great tea are worth trying here.
Lawley's Bakery Cafe is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. But google users rated this place and it didn't get a high rating.

This was without a doubt the worst continental roll I've ever had in my life. The bread was as hard as a rock and inedible. I may as well have thrown $15 straight into the bin Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I stopped by this busy neighborhood corner after a quick morning walk through the nearby park to pick up some treats for the weekend. The air inside was thick with the comforting scent of freshly baked sourdough and sweet cinnamon scrolls cooling on the racks. I decided to grab a savory breakfast wrap and a coffee, which the friendly staff prepared quickly despite the growing crowd of locals. It was nice to sit at one of the simple tables for a moment and watch the steady stream of regulars coming in for their daily loaves of bread. The whole experience felt very local and honest, providing that perfect, reliable start to a Saturday morning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a disgraceful price gouging company during these difficult times. On Friday 15 March @ 6.01am I went into the Lawley's Bakery Cafe in Shenton Park to buy my husband a Lawley's sliced Ciabatta Loaf. I normally buy this bread from Farmer Jacks or the Good Grocer. When I went to pay, the young girl asked for $8.10. I explained that that couldn't be possible and that I had never bought the bread at such an exorbitant price...and that I had been buying this bread for a number of years. Once again, I questioned the price of the loaf and explained that $8.10 just couldn't be correct. The girl once again insisted that it was. I asked her to explain how the company that 'makes' the bread could possibly be so much more expensive than Farmer Jacks or The Good Grocer. She gave the most bizarre answer. "Probably because they buy the bread wholesale and that's why they are so much cheaper". Seriously, you can't make this up. On Friday afternoon I rang one of the Lawley Bakery Cafes around 14:20 on 9444 8886 and asked if they had a Branch Manager. I was advised that they had a Regional Manager and I'm pretty sure they said her name was Lesley. I explained that I had a complaint and would like to speak with her. Apparently she was on the road and the lady who took the call said that she would text her and have her call me. Needless to say, I haven't heard from anyone. On Friday Farmer Jacks in Subiaco were selling the bread for $3.99 as it was on sale by $1.20. (see attached photo). On Saturday Farmer Jacks in Gwelup had the bread available for $5.19. Make no mistake, Coles and Woolworths are not the only establishments ripping off people during these difficult times. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
