I’ve lived in Petrie near the Lawnton Tavern for more than 15 years but for some reason, I had never been there for a meal (or for any other reason) until today. What a surprise. The friendly staff were on the front foot to assist, immediately resolving a small issue that I had raised. Plus the menu choices were also great! Garlic bread followed by Mango salad and the cauliflower share plate (like honey chicken but with cauliflower instead - much better for you) was delicious! I’m definitely going back. Tuesday lunch was pretty quiet but I feel it was a great time to go! Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Garlic Bread Vegetarian options: I wanted to lick the cauliflower plate clean!
