Visited Liyali twice now and honestly the place has a lot going for it. Sheesha quality is genuinely good, one of the better ones in Bahria, and the staff is polite and welcoming. No complaints there. The issue is their seating policy. The top floor is basically the highlight of this cafe, but both times we were refused seating there just because we were an all-boys group. Same behavior on both visits, so it's clearly a policy and not a one-off. I get reserving space for families, but turning away regular paying customers from the best part of your cafe simply because there are no females in the group is poor service. Cafes like Bonte and Bla Bla don't do this, and it shows in the overall experience. Fix the seating policy and this would easily be a 5-star spot. Until then, it's hard to recommend over the alternatives nearby. Price per person: Rs 2,000–3,000

Visited Layali last night and had a wonderful experience. Located on the top floor of the plaza (around the 5th/6th floor), it offers a fantastic panoramic view of Bahria Town. The structural layout here is excellent and very well-managed. They have smartly divided the restaurant into two distinct zones: a dedicated space for families, and an upper/lower split rooftop level reserved for those visiting without family. This separation keeps the vibe perfect for everyone. Additionally, they have beautifully designed indoor rooms if you prefer a cozy setup over the open-air rooftop breeze. When it comes to the food, the kitchen genuinely delivers. We ordered a variety of dishes, and almost everything tasted delicious, savory, and fresh. However, the beverages need a bit of improvement—we tried the Mint Margarita, and it was a letdown. It lacked that sharp, refreshing punch of mint and citrus you expect from a premium spot. I’d recommend skipping that and opting for their other drink options. What really elevates the dining experience at Layali is the hospitality. The staff is exceptionally nice, cooperative, and highly attentive, ensuring everything runs smoothly despite the multi-floor setup. Combined with the upscale, vibrant atmosphere and the gorgeous night view, it makes for a memorable evening out. Overall, it’s a brilliant spot for a dinner date, family gathering, or hanging out with friends. Highly recommended for the ambiance, delicious food, and stellar service—just mind what you order to drink!
