I was excited to try out Laylo as I had read some very positive reviews on Google. I ended up getting the pastor burger, as well as the beyond meat tacos and they were great.. HOWEVER, my wife got the Alcalino bowl and it was not good. The server forgot the dressing for the bowl and did not add the crispy tofu, I had to remind her. After reminding her she gave us some sort of garlic aioli dressing which was very bitter. She did come out with the “crispy” tofu, which was hot in the outside, but still completely frozen on the inside. As there was a language barrier and I had already spoke to her about the dressing and tofu, we figured we would just pay the bill and leave instead of complaining even more. We felt like this was quite a let down as I had said I read some really good reviews about this place. It is on a very busy street so there were alot of loud vehicles driving by, not to mention the ridiculous amount of dogs constantly barking all around us. I know that this is out of the restaurants hands, but we felt as though it was a bit of a dampener on the atmosphere of our dinner. This is an incredible little spot!!! We were short on time so only ordered a juice and a smoothie, but they were genuinely some of the best we've ever had. A few other people were eating and everything looked amazing, so we'll definitely come back for food. Service was also super friendly and fast, and overall it was just a really great experience. Highly recommend whether you're vegan or not!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sadly it took 75 minutes for us to get our food, with no updates or apology. We were the only 2 people dining, genuinely cant understand how or why it could possibly take this long. Food was unfortunately only ok when it arrived, and small portions for the high price.

As a very small kitchen, everything is prepared fresh to order, but that said, your wait time and lack of communication are not what we consider acceptable.
