Had dinner tonight with my mom and her purse was stolen right off her chair at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar within 45 minutes the thief charged $5,000 at Macy's no one at Macy’s bothered to look at the ID. Apparently their policy is to NOT ask for ID - “accommodating thieves”. Lazy Dog or Macy’s would not allow police to view security footage because “they did not want the guests to feel uncomfortable”. I will NEVER EVER visit either of these locations again. This restaurant condones this behavior. They were not cooperative with the West Covina Police Department. Was a frequent visitor of the Lazy Dog but not after how this was handled. If you choose to visit this location, please hold your belongings closely as Lazy Dog obviously does not care. Please be aware of your surroundings. There is a special place in hell for all thieves
