Le Bon Choix is a French patisserie and café located in Brisbane that offers a wide selection of delectable cakes, pastries, and sandwiches. The establishment has a Parisian-style ambiance that transports diners to the romantic streets of France. The interior design is chic and elegant, with comfortable seating and a large tree adding to the charming atmosphere.
The price range is a little on the high end, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. For example, the almond croissant is a must-try, with its dense and buttery texture filled with beautiful almond paste. They also offer a delicious apricot Danish and a savory salmon and cream cheese baguette.
Le Bon Choix's location is convenient, making it an ideal spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. The establishment has outdoor seating under the large tree, providing a lovely atmosphere for diners to enjoy their coffee and pastries.
In addition to their impressive pastry selection, Le Bon Choix also serves excellent coffee, both hot and cold, as well as soft drinks and wines. The establishment does not have a bar or live music, but the quality of the food and the ambiance are enough to make it a fine dining spot worth visiting.
The most delicious pastries and cakes with very good coffee. Also some yummy bread varieties to take home. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Pastries
Both almond croissant and chicken pie were OK, just average. I don't normally comment on service, but there was a noticeable lack of service at Le Bon Choix. Though there seems to be few other sweets to try, leaving a 3* as my experience means I may return, it's not a guaranteed return.
On Friday, 03-02-23, I ordered a very hot coffee but it was lukewarm when it arrived. My friend ordered a croissant plus a coffee. When my friend's order had not been served, after over half an hour, I complained to the cashier. She apologised, but it was obvious that the order had been overlooked. This was an unsatisfactory experience.
