Le Café Populaire is a hidden gem located in the heart of Rennes. This bistro style restaurant offers a unique menu of French classics with a twist, along with an excellent selection of wines and beers. The service is efficient and fast, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. Prices are also very reasonable for a three course dinner. From appetizers like peppers, potatoes and anchovies topped with a poached egg, to mains like bavette of beef with double-fried chips, fresh salad and a cold spicy tomato concasse, everything is delicious.
