What a desappointment ! ! ! (Read to the end) After a call for a reservation, I am asked for what time, I say 8 pm and I am told until 7:45 pm, so ok let's go for 7:45 pm. Arrived on the spot, cold atmosphere even icy. A waitress behind the bar who does nothing but does not welcome us. It's a very young waitress who arrives and does it. So we say we have reservations and she asks the waitress behind the bar which table is assigned to us and shows it to us. So we are going to settle there and there, we see first of all other people who have arrived after us and especially after the deadline announced by telephone when booking but in addition we wait 25 minutes before we take care of We. Our beers are brought to us and we wait again with the icing on the cake for the people who arrived after and who are served before! The young server a little lost but who does what he can is yelled at in the middle of the room in front of all the customers by the waitress who was behind the bar when we arrived and whom we understand to be the room manager. There are things that can be settled separately and it's easy to arrive after the war and make comments! The poor ! Our plates finally arrive and there it is a joke, miserable plates and once tasted not terrible at all and downright not seasoned! Scallops which are not, a mashed potato which is not (a simple potato boiled in water and burst into 3), a ratatouille which is not either, overcooked fries, really bad fish and chips with only a poor teaspoon of sauce and extra attention if you want more! The waiter comes to ask us if it's going well and understands from my expression that no and my husband asks him to prepare the bill. No question of leaving more money in this place! So we end up going to the bar to settle and the "chef" asks us AGAIN to wait because she has to change a barrel. We wait again and again and again and comes the fateful question of whether everything went well, so I answer him NO and we explain the different reasons. She finds a way to say that for the seasoning it's amazing because he's the boss in the kitchen but Mr boss you can use salt and pepper! ! ! We pay and leave. So disappointed that we decide to find a place nearby to have a drink before returning for ONCE WE WERE WITHOUT OUR CHILDREN! We came across a place with very smiling and welcoming people who even agree to serve me a dessert and who tell us that they have had several returns that LE CAFE DU PORT IS NOT A GOOD TABLE!
