This was rated as one of the best restaurants in Chamonix, but by far the worst we have eaten at so far. It is a beautiful place, but shame there was no real view or ambiance where we sat. We started with the beef carpachio which was OK - can't go wrong with a bit of raw beef, rocket and slices of parmesan, and the cerviche was fine - the dressing overwhelmed the fish but was not too terrible for the hungry. Then the main courses: tuna on the sushi was stale, the asian food (wok noodles) were terrible for anyone who has ever eaten Chinese food before. The rice noodles were prepared by people who do not know that rice noodles are not meant to clump together. Please stop offering these, or at least prepare them properly for 20euros. Steak and burger was fine - but not for the price we paid. It is a place of regrets. The staff were nice, hence it is not a zero star.
