Absolutely loved this place! The shawarma was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and easily one of the best meals I had in Costa Rica. The meat was juicy, the sauces were incredible, and everything tasted super fresh. What really surprised me was their homemade Armenian summer drink, 'Tan' cold, refreshing, slightly salty, and made with local yogurt. It paired perfectly with the food and was such a unique touch you don’t expect to find here. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and you can tell they care about quality and authenticity. Definitely a hidden gem for anyone craving amazing Middle Eastern food in Costa Rica. Highly recommend! The prices were also really great, most places in Coco are expensive, but the prices at Garbanzo were very fair. We went back a few times during our stay. Fantastic little spot! We had falafel wraps and the baba ghanaoush, both of which were great. The owner, who was running the place solo while we were there was welcoming, friendly and attentive despite multiple other customers. Food was very reasonable in price, especially for the portions. Truly some of the best Mediterranean food we've had, and considering the price, you can't do better. Cannot recommend enough!! Price per person: ₡5,000–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is exceptional. The owner is an excellent host. We returned for dinner every chance we had while in Coco. My wife and I both think Garbanzo's baba ganoush is the best we've ever had anywhere. Our kids loved the shawarma and kebab. We all couldn't get enough of the salads - fattoush and tabbouleh. And the falafel was extraordinary. Don't miss the opportunity to have world-class food here for incredibly reasonable prices. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Great veggie options. Dietary restrictions: My daughter's allergies to sesame and nuts were easily accommodated.
