At Restaurant Divellec, seafood is the star of the show. The establishment's elegant and welcoming ambiance is perfect for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. The interior design is modern and chic, with a touch of classic French charm. Prices are on the higher end, but the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. Located near Les Invalides in Paris, the establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
Start off with the sashimi, which is fresh and flavorful, or the asparagus with caviar for a decadent appetizer. For the main course, try the John Dory fillets with tiny clams over Jerusalem artichokes in a light foam or the grilled sole, which is cooked to perfection. Pair your meal with a light red Loire or take recommendations from the knowledgeable sommelier.
If you're in the mood for something sweet, the chocolat suffle with vanilla ice cream is a must-try. The establishment also offers in-house gin and rum that are full of flavor and complement the seafood dishes perfectly.
Overall, Restaurant Divellec is a fine dining spot that delivers on quality, service, and atmosphere. While it may be on the pricier side, it's worth it for a memorable dining experience in Paris.
A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!
Good standard. Our best addresses.
The iconic establishment of Jacques Le Divellec (1983-2013) is now the HQ of Mathieu Pacaud. The culinary theme continues to demonstrate a seafaring slant as the menu ebbs and flows with the tides, paying tribute to top-of-the-range seafood: sole meunière from small boats, aïoli of cod and seasonal veg, langoustines grilled in tarragon...

Very disappointing. Service was fine. Ambiance is quiet and elegant. Staff is very professional. However, food is nowhere near what you’d expect for the price. The pastilla was unexceptional, the soupe des roches had been reduced so much that it was way too salty and intense, like drinking broth not soup. The side small slices of fish that came with it were the opposite, insipid. The anchovies to share were not much better than out of a tin but sliced so thin that it barely even registered. The pavlova was nice but the chestnut ice cream and sauce it was served with were unremarkable. Overall, a pretentious rip-off.
