I went to this place driven by the great social marketing and advertising campaign they are doing, promising high quality croissants in Genoa. I'm sorry to say but, after trying it, and as a great lover of puff pastry, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately the croissants are aesthetically very beautiful and developed, but beyond their appearance the consistency is hard and tenacious (annoying to chew) and the flavor leaves an acidic aftertaste probably due to hasty leavening or poor fermentation management. The worst thing, however, are the fillings, which are chemical and of poor quality, starting with the custard which is absolutely insufficient for a place like this. All crowned by a price that is decidedly out of the market for the quality offered and the location of the place, a breakfast without even table service practically costs the same as lunch. I recommend focusing less on advertising and more on offering a better product, with fewer but better quality fillings, perhaps even at an acceptable price.
