We came at 4pm and there was no waiting. There is only one staff working the whole restaurant. Food came out in a decent time. Normandy Mussels were good! 19 euros for two kilograms! It was a lot for just the two of us. Escargots were delicious. There is a restroom for paying guests only. They preferred if everyone at the table order something. Good restaurant, with excellent and above all, very friendly service! We had the € 38,00 menu, with a nice fish soup and and a very good pavé de saumon. Intimate atmosphere, not like some of the touristy joints you'll find elsewhere in Étretat. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It is not easy to find a restaurant in Etretat with a good score (+4), which in itself says a lot. Le Galion had a better score than most so we went there for something to eat. There were few people, the wooden interior is quite a reason to visit here. We ordered two varieties of mussels, regular version and one with chorizo. The mussels arrived very quickly and in retrospect that may have been a sign of the future. Normally you expect a portion of steam when you open the mussels. That was not the case with us. The mussels were warm but not as they should be. Some mussels were hard, it looked like they had been cooked for too long. I dare not say with 100% certainty, but it seemed as if the mussels had been previously cooked and then reheated. All in all, not really the best batch of mussels we've ever eaten. Maybe the other dishes here are better? Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
