Excellent experience. We chose foie gras and prime rib for two. Very good quality! Quickly served. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and the wood-fired cooking is a real plus. The price of the wine is quite reasonable and of good quality. I highly recommend this restaurant where we were very well received and served. Le Grill au Thym is a friendly and good French restaurant. Where else, on a Sunday did not want to serve a menu, here we were very well received by the waitress and her team, undoubtedly family and well served. The menus are fairly reasonably priced overall. There is good and bad. As a starter, the gizzard salad is very hearty and tasty with good seasoning and they are not stingy with the number of gizzards. Well for the main it's a little more facesieu, the plate of mash or mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor and it wasn't hearty enough, accompanied by its shallot flank steak which was good and well cooked but the piece of flank steak was not noble enough for my taste, the piece had too much nerve so cutting it is not easy and chewing it either otherwise it was well cooked and good overall with its shallot taste... it's really a shame. On the desert side it's pretty much the same thing, the whipped cream was very good, worth highlighting like the scoop of ice cream and taste it's really good but what's a little lacking is the chocolate cake not too good, a little dry and too heated, a little too industrial for my taste, certainly from defrosting, but otherwise the rest of the dessert was good overall, especially the scoop of ice cream and the whipped cream. We had a great time in this establishment and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a large cinema screen with a large projector to watch live football or other matches. The pint of beer (unique so no choice of brand) is a classic draft and a little more expensive than in other establishments and I don't know if there is a happy hour. This remains a good discovery at the moment where you eat well without fussing. It's not perfect either because there are good and bad things but we had a great time inside and we had the same opinion. The restaurant with its pretty frontage and its terrace seats is located on the street where all the restaurants of Bordeaux share the corner, the rue des Falsets. Accessibility for PMR is possible because there are places on the terrace otherwise the restaurant has a step and on the toilet side not sure that it is practical for wheelchairs.
