The scene was set in the Petite Champlain with the snow coming down outside while we dined on the most delicious rabbit and pork chops. We capped the night off with a maple creme brulee because, when in Canada, why not. Our server, who's name escapes, me was beyond welcoming and friendly, I felt like we were dining at a friend's house. Truly a must for anyone visiting Quebec. The ambiance of Lapin Sauté is lovely, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, I feel that the restaurant might be a bit overrated. We ordered the recommended platter, which was quite unique in presentation but tasted fairly average. The food arrived much faster than we expected and was served warm, which made us wonder if it had been pre-prepared and just plated before serving. The highlight of our meal was definitely the Sangria—it was the best part of the experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our last dinner in Quebec was at Le Lapin Sauté. The restaurant is small and cozy and warm with a fireplace. The atmosphere so friendly. The food was piping hot and delicious. I had the Duck Confit Parmentier and it came with a delicious leafy green salad. The portion was large. My husband had the grilled cheese- also delicious, and accompanied by french fries and salad. The prices are crazy reasonable! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you to the lovely staff and chef.
