After enjoying Rue Obscure, visit this restaurant which is not far away. Dishes of French and Italian cuisines can be ordered at Le Serre. This place is proud of nicely cooked daube, pizza and steaks. It's a pleasant experience to eat good tiramisu, crème brûlée and parfait. Here you can drink delicious house wine, beer or limoncello. Come to this spot for great coffee.
Live music is performed by musicians in the evening. The efficient staff welcomes guests all year round. The terrific service is a big benefit of this restaurant. The proprietress is very kind and this is probably the best restaurant in Nice. The feeling of the small town is so good, it wiped away my impression of France. What a special place. The pizza is thin, crispy and full of toppings and generous cheese. The service is kind and so welcoming. Not to mention the gorgeous street full of architecture of an ancient city. It is a real destination. Extremely good value too. Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetable pizza on offer. LOVE Le Serre. Have been coming here for years and it's always wonderful. Delicious food, understated vibe in a discreet corner of the old town, and some summers they have live music. Plus we appreciate the whimsy of pizzas named after US states with no clear relationship between the state and the toppings. All in all a gem in Villefranche!
