Le Taouk is a restaurant that has to be one of the best that downtown has to offer! Located in Plateau, this Labanese restaurant is a favorite because of its portion sizes, prices, and ofcourse the taste of its food. My go-to dish at Taouk has to be the Taouk platter 500g (photo provided,) because it is worth 10,000 FCFA as of May 23' and for that price the portion is amazing, perfect for 2 people. The Saj, on the other hand, is a good choice if you want to have something light and it is like a Quesadilla. The only problem is the small seating arrangement, but people usually tend to take-away their food. But except for the small area and quite ironically, Le Taouk's ambience is also one of its best aspects. The open cooking station, which is visible to you as you eat, and the rustic brick-and-mortar aesthetic, adds to the vibe of the restaurant. Meal type: Dinner
