I knew the restaurant by name since it was located in Passignano sul Trasimeno. I live in the area, but I had never tried this wonderful place, perhaps because sometimes everyday life leads to obvious choices. With friends we decide, also their first experience in this restaurant. Place open for years, but meticulously maintained, new, incredibly clean. Simple and essential menu, not too full of dishes that leave you spoiled for choice, as said essential. The very kind owner knows his stuff and has an excellent knowledge of the wines and what he offers. Excellent quality of raw materials, each dish an explosion of distinct flavors combined with skill. We all took cooked fish base. The prosecco (of superior quality) with a small matching pre-starter was very welcome, and the grappa at the end of the meal for those who liked it. I could go on with the praise, but you have to try!!!! We'll be back, we'll spread the word because the food here is truly quality. Best restaurant we tried within 40 km. We will be back!
