Excellent dinner just a few minutes (walk) from the center of Intra. Vegetable pie on taleggio cream, pasta with sea urchins, but above all red gnocchi with truly excellent white lamb ragù! Advised!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My recent visit to the restaurant "Le Volte" in Intra was characterized by good quality of food. We particularly enjoyed the goose liver terrine with brioche bread. However, some aspects of the venue deserve attention. The atmosphere, although featuring a charming vaulted ceiling, was too dark and would have benefited from better lighting. Additionally, the venue seemed in need of an update, with an atmosphere that seemed to have remained unchanged over time. The service, managed by the owner, was good but took a significant time to take the order, with more than an hour elapsed before the order was placed. The total cost for four people, including a bottle of wine, was around 250 euros. In terms of main courses, the taglioni with porcini mushrooms were tasty, if slightly too buttery, while another diner enjoyed the fillet with porcini mushrooms. My overall experience was positive due to the quality of the food, but some aspects, such as the lighting and service, could improve to provide a more satisfying customer experience.
