Come here for a drink after a long walk around Waterloo Battlefield. The menu of Belgian and French cuisines is to the pleasure of all guests here. Tasty sausages and nicely cooked tartare will impress you at the first bite. To order good parfait is a really good idea. Delicious wine is the most popular drinks of this cafe. Visitors don't highly appreciate coffee at Café Restaurant Le Bivouac.

Many reviewers say that the staff is courteous here. This place provides meals at attractive prices. The pretty atmosphere gladdens people and attracts more clients. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! I stopped by to just have a drink in a place that seemed nice to me. It was then that I was told that the establishment no longer served from 5:15 p.m. in high season even though it was announced to close at 6 p.m. After this more than disappointing remark, the waiter serves us a duvel in a glass of Orval which is a crime when we know that we are going to pay 6 euros for this duvel. Finally, we try to speak with the waiter to express our dissatisfaction and he turns straight away and starts shouting at us. In short, I do not recommend it at all and I even advise avoiding it. Delicious food! We were told a waiting time of 15 minutes for the tarte tatin, it was closer to half an hour, but it was delicious. A little noisy when the room is full. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Arrived around 12:30 p.m. Relatively fast service. A little less towards dessert but the restaurant was full. Super nice and warm waiters. The portions of fries are small though. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
