Might have just caught them on a bad day but - I had a brawt, my wife had the beef frank. Her comment was, costco hotdog for $1.50 is way better than this. Very dry. My brat was like pepperoni it was so dry. Maybe thats the way a ttaditional bavarian dog is, but we did not enjoy them. Sorry.

This restaurant offers a prime location on Leavenworth's main strip, boasting ample seating and picturesque views. Their diverse sausage selection, including vegetarian options, alongside pretzels and beer, adds to the appeal. However, while decent, it falls slightly short compared to its competitor across the street. But a good option if you don't want to wait in line at the other location.

Of all the "Sausage Restaurants" in Leavenworth, the Leavenworth Sausage Garten is our favorite, especially on a summer day. Our door seating, a good variety of sausages, good drinks and a casual seating arrangement make for a solid dining experience that fits the Bavarian experience in Leavenworth. We tried the pretzel, German potato salad, currywurst, Italian sausage, bratwurst, bockwurst, and the "Wenatchee dog." The currywurst and Italian sausage definitely had distinct flavor differences than the rest, with the currywurst being my favorite. The Italian sausage was good, as well as the others - though I feel like you could find most of these as your local butcher that would be "equal quality/flavor" when cooked in a grill, which is good. There's a good assortments of condiments, mustards, etc. which allow you to customize your food to your liking. It's quick and friendly service, good food, and a nice casual experience.
